UK based executive and interim search company, BK Cornerstone, introduces local UK business to trusted recruitment supplier in the People's Republic of China via Cornerstone International network.

With the continuing demand for luxury products in the still booming Chinese economy, James Cropper Ltd. (speciality paper suppliers to the luxury goods industry) needed to find a Chinese based recruiter to fill the demanding role of Business Development Manager.

Vince Cunningham, their liaison man at the Chinese British Business Council, introduced them to BK Cornerstone, knowing that they are the UK representative of Cornerstone International Group whose PRC member, China Team, is well known to Ian Day, the Cornerstone Group Chief Marketing Officer and a Partner in BK Cornerstone.

Ian explains:

“Clearly the decision makers at James Cropper were wary of placing their trust for such a business critical assignment without a face to face meeting.  But the urgency to act was another consideration.  But BK Cornerstone are local.  We liaised with our colleagues in China Team then visited Cropper´s HR Director, David Nicholson, to explain the process, to show examples of assignment briefs, candidate reports and the Cornerstone reference report.  We also agreed to act as local Quality Control liaison to ensure that the assignment was delivered in line with their expectations.”

Croppers can now proceed sure in the knowledge that BK Cornerstone are locally owned but globally connected.
