Richard Sherrard
Richard started his career with the then Halifax Building Society, where he ultimately became responsible for resourcing across all group companies.
Upon leaving the Halifax he took up main board roles as HR Director and Organisational Development Director.
He has ten years´ experience within the recruitment industry, is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and holds a degree in business management.
Richard is a Director at BK Cornerstone and provides successful senior recruitment solutions across a range of sectors and functional specialisms.
Richard´s clients and candidates seem to be inter-changeable, with many becoming long established friends. A keen sportsman, he has now taken to largely spectating as the ravages of time take their toll.
Richard´s recent assignments include:
- Recruited a range of senior HR Specialists for a major financial services company.
- Recruited new teams of Business Development and Account Management professionals for an outsourced customer service business.
- Appointed the Sales and Marketing Director and HR Director to a major retail company.
- Selected by one of the world´s leading brands to provide senior recruitment across the logistics and supply chain business areas.
