Michael Aitchison
Michael joined BK Cornerstone in 2009 from a specialist accountancy and finance recruitment background.
Prior to moving into recruitment Michael spent seven years with the Bank of Scotland and latterly HBOS in corporate advisory and banking roles.
The move to BK Cornerstone has allowed him to apply an in-depth understanding of business issues to the recruitment of a broader range of roles and to develop genuine business partnering relationships with his clients.
Having initially specialised in financial services recruitment, Michael´s portfolio of clients has evolved over time and now includes the telecoms, FMCG, manufacturing and business services sectors.
In his spare time Michael enjoys golf, fishing, football and spending time with his two sons.

- Head of Payroll, US-listed multi-national.
- Finance Director, AIM-listed manufacturing business.
- Group Finance Director and UK Managing Director, Japanese manufacturing group.
